Editorial photography: Epic Systems Campus in Verona

A few years ago, I photographed Epic Systems in Verona, Wisconsin while on assignment for Isthmus. I've finally gotten around to making a web gallery of the images with several unpublished photos. Epic is on an interesting, 400 acre campus with unique architectural/ landscape features, as well as housing a large collection of original artwork. View the Epic Systems photo gallery.

I had a fantastic shoot with Lucinda last weekend. I have worked with her in the past and she always does excellent work. A few years ago Lucinda did runway modeling in Paris. Rosalee, and her assistants Caroline Radaj, and Jessica Rudnik helped with styling, hair and makeup. The shoot was a collaborative effort and everyone came up with some very creative concepts.

Isthmus newspaper cover shot

Two weeks ago I photographed a portrait of Dan Barker and Annie Laurie Gaylor co-presidents of the Freedom from Religion Foundation for the December 18 cover of Isthmus | The Daily Page. We shot many photos inside their office in Madison before moving outside with the strobe to shoot the cover image. Art director: Carolyn Fath.

I had my first editorial work published in Madison Magazine this month. Bright sunlight made the portrait shoot a challenge but I really enjoyed the assignment and am very happy with how the photograph printed.

Newspaper cover: Heartbreak Motels

I recently photographed an interesting story for Isthmus which brought me to some rather dangerous motels at night. It was one of the most exciting assignments I have worked on and the story written by Nathan Comp is gritty and keen. Art Director: Carolyn Fath.

Fashion shoot with Hanna

I was in Milwaukee over the weekend and worked with a great emerging model named Hanna. She did fantastic and I hope she visits my studio for another photo shoot soon.
