Madison Magazine: Style + Shopping, January

The January issue of Madison Magazine is out and I've got a nice-looking double truck (2-page spread) of winterwear in the style section of the print magazine. We shot a ton of products for the feature, but it was a lot of fun to work on. We've got a fantastic team that works with me on these projects including stylist Shayna Miller and art director Tim Burton.

A few behind the scenes photos with Allison Kuehn

Had a great jewelry photo shoot with Allison at the Madison Magazine studio and here are a few behind the scenes photos. I used my 22" beauty dish as the key light, a 7" reflector with a 40º grid as a hair light, and a large softbox as my fill light. Candids by Jessie Sandler.

Style + Shopping features, Madison Magazine November issue

I've got three pages of photos in the November, 2009 issue of Madison Magazine. I'm super happy about how the shots turned out and got to work with Allison Kuehn from America's Next Top Model on a jewelry shoot. She's really rad to work with and the project went very smoothly. Several new photos in the October edition of Madison Magazine. Had a lot of fun shooting the images and I've been incredibly busy in September. I'll be posting more published work as it is released.

Style + Shopping, Madison Magazine

I've got two pages of product photos in the September edition of Madison Magazine. The shoot went very smoothly, as Tim Burton (AD) and Shayna Miller (Style Editor) are the consummate professionals. I bring my MacBook Pro along to shoots and we're able to view the images onscreen and quickly make subtle changes to lighting and placement.

November issue of Madison Magazine

I've got several photos in the November (fashion issue) of Madison. I really enjoyed the two photo shoots for the editorials. Art director: Tim Burton, Stylist: Shayna Miller.

Madison Magazine, October edition

This full page kitchen photo ran this month in the magazine. The shoot went very smoothly and we left empty space at the bottom of the photograph to flow copy text. I was really happy with how clean the printed page turned out. I used my 50mm f/1.4 prime and the shot is extremely sharp-you can read the small logo on the hand blender (right center).
