Madison Magazine, October edition

This full page kitchen photo ran this month in the magazine. The shoot went very smoothly and we left empty space at the bottom of the photograph to flow copy text. I was really happy with how clean the printed page turned out. I used my 50mm f/1.4 prime and the shot is extremely sharp-you can read the small logo on the hand blender (right center). Oct. edition of Esquire Magazine. WOW.

I took this footage with my cellphone at the bookstore. It's a cover of the magazine that uses eInk technology to make an animated cover. It was really cool looking and stopped me in my tracks. I'm going to hacve to subscribe to Esquire again now.

It was a good day...

Had a very successful editorial shoot for Isthmus this morning. Sold a fine art b/w print this afternoon, got a good lead on a magazine assignment, and mailed out promos to twelve of my favorite magazines this evening. Would love to have more days like today.
